how you can have more energy when you carry yourself better
If you want to have more energy then learn to carry yourself
No one in school ever taught us how to carry ourselves. Maybe your mama told you to sit up straight at the table, and that’s about it. In my days, it was “here’s the volleyball go and play.” If you loved your P.E. classes as I did, you know that they weren’t as educational as they are today, but they did get the job done. Did your P.E. teacher go the extra mile to teach you about connection and body awareness? Probably not, because it was not as necessary to address it then as it is today with all the crazy technologically advanced comforts which make us slowly turn into wet noodles.
Mat Pilates is the foundation of Pilates. @jeaniquepilates
Today’s cueing is for the spine and lower tummy. It’s a level two mat. I tell you, this lower ab muscle is so lazy. We have to continue thinking about it if you want to come automatically.
You will encounter a lot of new exercises today if your practice is only a level 1 mat. But don’t worry, in two weeks, I will be covering The Progressive Pilates sequence. You can sign up below to participate.
