How to do the teaser pilates

Pilates for absolute beginner Level 1

Teaser Pilates is done on the mat, reformer and tower/cadillac

What’s teaser really? My student once asked me, ” is it like with the movies? They give you a teaser a small piece of the movie of about what to expect in the whole movie? Of course I said no it’s not, Teaser Pilates is the name of an exercise. But when I actually think about it, well it’s actually trying to tease your sense of understanding that every Pilates should start from your core center. Teaser Pilates is an empowering movement. Everyone wants to be able to do the teaser. It doesn’t matter how far in your practice you’re in your practice, once you’re able to do this exercise, your faith in Pilates will grow. You will see :). It’s certainly your first milestone as a beginner level 1 Pilates practitioner because it’s the measure of how well-integrated you’re begining to get in your body. These two exercises swan and teaser brings you a step closer to your beginner level 1. It may takes you a few weeks of tweaking and understanding how to carry yourself in this V position using mainly your core muscles, but once you’re done you will feel ready to start exploring some new exercises of beginner/intermediate. Congratulation my friend you’re in the right direction. Keep practicing.
