I am Pilates nerd and I like it
teach and practiceI’m a Pilates nerd and I like it. 🥳
It’s 7 days since the new year and the days are slipping away fast.
This is my 17th year of teaching ( Pilates for 10)
In two months I will be celebrating my big four O, I’m pretty excited about that 🎈💃🏽. I’m also grateful to be able to make a living out of something that I’m passionate about. For those of you who have been asking yourself if that’s possible, yes, it’s possible to turn your passion into a full-time job. But for me, it rarely feels like work, because I’m surrounded by interesting and passionate people. What more can I asked for but for more years to keep doing what I love.
I have always kept a personal practice because it motivates and drives me to look for solutions as well as step back and focus on myself. I think it’s important that teachers make time to practice.

Hi, I’m Jeanique if you want to know a little bit more about me go here
For 17 years I have always kept a personal practice because it motivates and drives me to look for solutions as well as step back and focus on myself. I think it’s important that teachers make time to practice. This year I’m going to let my Pilates practice sink a little deeper to places in my body that I have never really paid attention to before, I’m gonna let my breath guide my movement as much as I can and I’m going to journal my experience. Let’s see what happens!

How to connect your legs to your core muscles
Ok, I admit it, I was not a big fan of ballet in the past. But it is the one discipline that taught me how to connect my legs to my core muscles. As a freestyle dancer, ballet was not a requirement, and you only needed rhythm. So I didn't know what I was missing from...
